Course Description:  The 5K course takes runners and walkers through the inside of the park and around Lake Balboa. 10K runners go through the wildlife area with the LA creek on one side, the golf course on the other and then past Lake Balboa to the finish.

Driving Directions & Parking Information: From the #405 freeway, take Victory Blvd. West to Woodley Ave. Go South on Woodley to race parking. OR, from the West Valley, take Balboa Blvd. North to Victory Blvd. East on Victory to Woodley Ave. and South on Woodley to race parking. Watch for RACE PARKING signs.

Pre-Package Pick up: Want to free yourself of the morning of craziness and sleep in? We will be doing Packet pick ups the day before race day. You will be able to pick up your bib numbers and important race day info. Package pick up will be Friday March 14th, 2014 2PM-6PM at: Fleet Feet Encino

T-Shirts & Goodies: A quality shirt to all registered runners & gift bag

Food & Beverages: Bagels, fruit, coffee, water, energy bars, and anything else we can come up with by then!

Can’t make race day? Sleep in! Be a VIRTUAL RUNNER! Just register as a virtual runner and get a shirt mailed to you. It’s all for a great cause!

Team Challenge: Get your coworkers/families & teammates and form a team! You will have the chance to compete & beat other teams.  Each individual team member must sign up through active, but just please designate what team you will be running for when you sign up.

Team Award categories: Fastest Team ~ Team that raises most money ~ Team with the most participants

VOLUNTEER: Be a part of the action: make new friends and have fun while helping out a great cause! The Natasha Watley Foundation Run 5K & 10K needs volunteers to assist with the course, water stations, registration, check in, goody bags, pre-race check in, and more! All volunteers will receive a HUGE thank you hug or high five, a goody bag, breakfast and a t-shirt.
